CEU Trainings

 


The Region 3 Educator & Provider Support grant (EPS) will offer CEU (Continuing Education Unit) Training for eligible educators and programs at little or no cost.  These workshops will provide a minimum of 5 hours of training on a particular topic and participants will earn Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) upon completion. Your PQR number must be active in order to participate.

 Planning Play Opportunities to Promote Development in Preschool ~ Webinar - 

Play is critical in supporting a child’s healthy growth and development. Educators have a key role in facilitating and reinforcing the development of individual skills while interacting with children at play. This webinar will provide a clear understanding of the importance of play and best practices on intentional strategies that scaffold children’s learning through play.

(SEL) and Approaches to Play and Learning (APL)-ONLINE

ONLINE Introductory Course on the Massachusetts Standards for Pre-K and K Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) and Approaches to Play and Learning (APL) The course begins 5/19 and ends 6/15. This ten-hour introductory course is designed to familiarize and help early educators gain a better understanding of the new MA Pre-K and K SEL and APL Standards and how to begin incorporating them into their settings.

This 5 hour workshop (.5 CEU) is being sponsored by the Region 3 Educator and Provider Support grant (R3P) through the Department of Early Education and Care. The course is being presented by the Institute for Education and Professional Development (IEPD).
