CDA and Accreditation Support

The Region 3 Educator and Provider Support grant (R3P) provides training and support for educators interested in earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.  College courses leading to CDA are available at Middlesex Community College and North Shore Community College.

Educators who have completed all requirements for CDA and are preparing to submit their application to the CDA Council in Washington, DC, may apply for a voucher to pay a portion of their CDA Application Fee or CDA Renewal fee. Important:  This funding is not guaranteed and is limited.

Applications can be found here:

CDA Renewal

As of July 1, 2017, the R3P is no longer able to support fee reimbursement for NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) or COA (Council on Accreditation – for School Age programs) Accreditation.

There may be opportunities for Accreditation support through ‘Program Focused Coaching Support’ – see our ‘Coaching and Mentoring’ tab for more information.

For those seeking a voucher for NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care) Accreditation support, there are a very limited number of vouchers available.  Please apply here:
