CDA and Accreditation Support

The Region 3 Educator and Provider Support grant (R3P) provides training and support for educators interested in earning a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential.  College courses leading to CDA are available at Middlesex Community College and North Shore Community College.

Educators who have completed all requirements for CDA and are preparing to submit their application to the CDA Council in Washington, DC, may apply for a voucher to pay a portion of their CDA Application Fee or CDA Renewal fee. Important:  Due to an unexpectedly high number of requests for CDA Vouchers, We will begin to process those vouchers in the order received as soon as possible.  Thank you for your understanding and patience.

The R3P supports programs working toward NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children), NAFCC (National Association of Family Child Care) or COA (Council on Accreditation – for School Age programs) Accreditation through coaching and may also be able to provide financial support for  UP TO 50% of accreditation fees.
