PLC’s- Professional Learning Communities

PLC – Professional Learning Community

The focus of PLCs is ongoing “job-embedded learning,” rather than a professional development session facilitated by a trainer, PLCs emphasize teacher, administrator/director and or coach leadership, along with their active involvement and deep commitment to early childhood improvement efforts. PLCs therefore benefit educators as much as they do young children and families.
